The Training Workshop on Writing Successful Scholarship/Project Proposal and Funding Opportunities for Young Scholars and Academic Practitioners, organized within the frame of the RARSUS Project, will take place on the 30th September 2019 – 04th October 2019 in Abdou Moumouni University of Niamey.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this workshop participants should be able to:

• gather information needed to create a complete scholarship/project proposal,
• identify “red flags” in project proposals,
• create a competitive proposal package, and
• cultivate relationships with potential donor organizations.

Description

A mix of (guest) lectures, class discussions/exercises, case studies and online lectures will be used to achieve the objective of the workshop. The workshop is intended for Master students, PhD students and academic practitioners who are interested in writing research proposals and to be informed about funding opportunities from donor organizations. English and French will be the working languages of the workshop.
